Halo is a £5 million club, in the Woodhouse Lane area of Leeds. It has a huge cinema sized screen, and many 42" plasma screens. Leeds finest music mix is played through a state of the art KV2 sound system. Very popular with the student crowed as it is set up near the uninversities.
The £3million Leeds venue set in New Briggate, the heart of Leeds Northern Quarter, has been selected because of its size and location, and is being designed and built to suit the profile of the city.
The development of the Leeds venue has the more sophisticated clubber in mind. The venue will feature two floors, six bars, a separate VIP suite, an interactive lighting system and the Gatecrasher Signature sound system for the world's leading DJ's and acts to play on.
The relaxed plush surroundings are a move away from the trance image of the Gatecrasher of old and a move into a mixture of all styles of music that will suit the club's more discerning customer.
A bar/restaurant by day, and a massive three roomed mega-club by night. Set near Millenium Square it is Rammed throughout the week with students and townies alike. The music - R'n'B, Cheese, Indie and Dance, basically something for everyone.
A small club with a capacity of only 350 and the entrance is just as small, there are no big signs, its a very discrete club. It offers an alternative to the city's vibrant dance music scene by offering a range of DJ led and live music nights based around jazz, funk, soul and hip hop. Diferent nights of the week play host to a number of regular weekly club nights, spanning contemporary R&B and Hip Hop, to Motown and Northern Soul, 70s Funk, reggae and Latin.
The club with the only revolving dancefloor in leeds, plays a wide range of music ranging from cheese to indie to r'n'b. A typical beach bar with surf boards and jet ski's etc. all around and the staff wear beach gear. Bondi has one of the best student nights on a monday £10 all u can drink. Unfortunatley only has one room, so if u dnt like the music u can't go anywhere else.
Anotha club based around a beach, but this club has huge plastic sharks and sea paraphernalia as decor. 96.3 Radioaire hold a night there every week, and have competitions for cash and beer vouchers. Again the music is varied from cheese indie and r'n'b. All the staff wear beach gear but again there is only one room so there is no getting aways from whatevers playing.
